MOST: When I arrived on the grounds Saturday afternoon, I was so surprised at the shear size of the crowds. Over 45,000 people were there to enjoy the music and the other activities. Security was so minimal that I was able to sneak in booze that kept me going for most of the day. Saturday was mostly rock n' roll acts like The Tragically Hip and Tom Petty, both who just killed their sets! Sunday was the day for us hip hop heads...N.E.R.D and Jay-Z were scheduled to perform...
N.E.R.D - Pharrell and his crew were 45mins late but it was worth the wait. They shook the whole fuckin' place up! They had so much energy and stamina that it made people crazy. I was right in the mosh pit getting crushed by body surfers and other goons who just didn't give a fuck! N.E.R.D played some new shit like 'Spazz' and "Everybody Nose' but also stuck to their old hits. For their 45min set I give them 2 thumbs up plus an extra thumb cuz Pharrell became such a pimp for inviting all the ladies in the area up on stage (and he even took a few with him backstage). I'ma let B-Ro review and explain the ferocity of Jay-Z and his killer set so keep visiting to find out what he thought!
